Ankle Arthritis

Arthritis is a blanket term for more than 100 types of joint pain and disease that fall into categories like degenerative arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and inflammatory arthritis. When the disease affects the ankle (ankle arthritis), symptoms generally include pain in the ankle, swelling, loss of joint function and difficulty walking and engaging in other types of physical activity.
